1. Users must be enrolled in an active research study in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine to access and use this application.

2. MAE is a smartphone sensing application developed for research conducted by the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

3. This information can then be used to infer physical activity patterns, sleep habits, and mood associated with your daily routine as you prepare for and recover from surgery.

4. MAE collects information about your daily routine and behaviors through the sensors in your smartphone, through data that you may share through the Health app, and through brief mobile surveys.

5. It’s primary purpose is the collection of real-world behavioral data about users’ physical and mental well-being.

6. The app is not used to diagnose or treat any medical condition.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Using MAE Patient on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MAE Patient"
The search will reveal the MAE Patient app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MAE Patient is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MAE Patient.
Now enjoy MAE Patient on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use MAE Patient,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "MAE Patient" » then Click "Install".
- MAE Patient will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
