I've recently gotten into Rhythm games near late 2020. I played games such as StepMania, ddr, etc. I moved on to virtual rhythm games to broaden my horizons to music. I was looking for a good rhythm game for my phone to play during my free time. There were so many terrible rhythm games on the app store that just weren't worth downloading. I then stubble across the app. I saw the game trailer and saw many reviews. I gave the game a chance and this game was beyond my expectations. So many songs to choose from, many characters, and so on. I enjoyed watching each unit's story and understanding each character's personality, characteristics, things they like and hate. The charting for a lot of the songs are really fun on certain difficulties as well. In the end, this game will always hold a special place in my heart. This game made me appreciate different types of music, and all of these songs on this game are a complete banger. If I could rate this 6 stars, I would. Thank you Bushiroad for expanding my horizons to new types of music, fun, and so on!
Blew my expectations away

I personally have a bias against most modern day mobile games. Their style gets repetitive and most of the time, essential stuff that makes the game fun is behind a paywall, top that with bundles of advertisements and user tracking, I generally didn’t think my experience with this game was gonna be good. Once I got into it however, I kid you not, this is one of the best free to play mobile games I have ever played. My expectations for this game were honestly blown away. The storylines are super interesting and the gameplay is super fun and enjoyable! Plus, stuff that’s actually important to the game isn’t behind a paywall! Combine that with my love for rhythm based games in general, this game is a blast for me. This is what mobile games should be like. Thank you guys for all the heart and soul you poured into this game. I love it. And this is coming from someone who usually has a bias against modern day mobile games, which says a lot! :)

The game is great even tho it’s apples fault because even my jp games won’t let me in because it keeps telling me to update but It won’t let me update them. Like it’s updating but it’s been updating for the past week and I only have 2 games that are linked so if I were to delete them it would be okay and those 2 games are this one and Idol master jp Bandori isn’t linked and I’m gonna cry the game only game that I can play is the English Bandori game :( It isn’t the wonderful people who work to make this games fault because this game is under my en account and the other games are under my jp account so it’s apples. I just wanted to write this because I almost had a mental breakdown because I already lost game process that I can’t get back from bushido. Thank you for your time.

So I’ve been waiting for this to drop in America, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. I love the new types of notes and the songs, especially the use of DJ turntables. (That is freaking awesome lol) I love the story as well. Everything about it is cool and pleasing to the eyes. I’m an avid rhythm game player, and sometimes I find some games boring because it’s just tapping or sliding the same types of notes over and over, so this game was a pleasant surprise for me. The only thing I would say would be a negative is the gacha, since even if you get a perfect combo, if you have weaker band members your score is low regardless. Even though I’m used to that type of play, it can get a little annoying... But the game itself is still really good!
