What is FlightLog? FlightLog is a tablet application that allows pilots to capture flight logs directly into the app instead of using paper. The app is designed to save time for pilots by pre-populating with all relevant data when the pilot signs in. The app also has an offline mode for pilots to input data into logs while in the cockpit, for submission later once Internet access is available.
1. The app is easy to use and saves time for pilots because it will pre-populate with all relevant and known data when the pilot signs into the tablet application at the commencement of flight duty.
2. Airlines use merlot.aero to optimize day-to-day crew and aircraft utilization, as well as control and report on core operational information.
3. Offline mode is available to allow pilots to input data into logs while in the cockpit, for submission later once Internet access is available.
4. FlightLog app enables pilots to capture the flight log directly into a tablet application, instead of paper within the cockpit.
5. The mobile token is available from the Login Center in the top-right corner of CrewPortal, or contact your Merlot administrator.
