  • Best Sentry App So Far!

    By ArthurMcK (Pcmac user)

Best Sentry app I’ve used so far. Great layout.. I love how you can scroll through the thumbnails of Sentry events and see a snapshot of what caused the actual event. Also love how you can just directly to that point in the video. Scrubbing through the videos could use some work. It’s not as smooth as some of the other apps I’ve used. I’m often left with a black screen while scrubbing until it catches up. Would also be great if the app would automatically edit out the corrupted files that Sentry mode often leaves. I’ve also had some crashes while exporting (specifically timelapse mode). Despite the few problems, this app is still the best one out there at the moment. Hope to see some updates addressing my problems but keep up the good work!
  • Best interface available currently, but not quite perfect

    By Matthew (LivingTesla) (Pcmac user)

The interface for choosing videos and getting to see thumbnails of the actual events is awesome. When viewing though, it’s easy to get lost. I’m frequently getting black screens or frozen video and the jog bar doesn’t have any time references on it so I end up losing track of where I am in time. Also, when switching between camera views they end up all out of order. Start with front as the main with left, center, back below. If another camera is selected, put the front camera in its place at the bottom so anytime you select the front camera, they’re all back in order.
  • The TeslaCam app I’ve been looking for!

By Fuzz E Cat (Pcmac user)

Now I don’t have to wait to get home to check out sentry events. I Just plug the Apple “Lightning to USB 3 Camera” dongle into my phone and into a charging cable, then plug the microsd to usb from the car into usb port on the dongle, and viola! I can quickly scan through events from all four recorded cameras and see If I have to track down some vandal in the mall. I don’t know how it’s possible but this app seems to work quite a bit better than the OsX solutions I’ve tried.
  • Nice but needs more usb suport

    By Will.iamz (Pcmac user)

I use the iXpand usb drive that can directly plug into iPhone. Was hoping this app would work with it as others do because the interface on this apps looks cleaner. Unfortunately it doesn’t work with the iXpand usb drive and you MUST get an adaptor even though this usb drive plugs directly to iPhone.
