1. While this feature is seamless when an administrator is managing firmware remotely, there are cases when local IT persons (or users) need to authenticate their identities to the firmware (e.g., to access the BIOS F10 Setup).

2. In such use cases, the firmware will display a QR code, which the local IT person can scan with HP Sure Admin Mobile application for generating a one-time PIN that can be entered into the firmware for user authentication.

3. HP Commercial PCs equipped with HP Sure Admin feature can manage access to firmware, using public/private key pair-based security.

4. This feature provides increased security over a typical password-based solution.

Using HP Sure Admin on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "HP Sure Admin"
The search will reveal the HP Sure Admin app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once HP Sure Admin is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including HP Sure Admin.
Now enjoy HP Sure Admin on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use HP Sure Admin,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "HP Sure Admin" » then Click "Install".
- HP Sure Admin will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
