To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Sound Bar Controller,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Sound Bar Controller" » then Click "Install".
- Sound Bar Controller will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This app is a little buggy at first but a little trouble shooting will fix a lot of people’s issues. If you have a WiFi issue once you download this app. Close app and reboot phone and boom it connects instantly. All the other bugs with the app bar are fixed with a quick firmware update through the app once connected. If you can’t get connected to the app. Download firmware to a flash drive and follow update manual on Yamaha website. If you need help call support.

This app Must have been created by a bunch of amateurs who have no idea what they are doing. Sometimes it takes nearly all day to connect. I give it a two star rating only out of the kindness of my heart. I’m sure you have somebody there who can improve this app.
Update for iOS 13 needed

I can’t get the setup to show the WiFi connections to complete setup. It only continues to show refreshing. This is infuriating when you’ve just bought a new soundbar and you can’t get it working!

SUPPORT 5GHZ networks and enterprise networks. Add more wireless network support. This app is the worst it makes the the app bar setup next to impossible also awful UI. Support more wireless networks and rebuild the app.
