What is Roborock?

The Roborock app is a companion app for Roborock robot vacuums that allows users to control and customize their cleaning experience. The app features advanced scheduling, customizable cleaning, zone cleaning, no-go zones, multi-level mapping, and real-time viewing. The app is compatible with various Roborock robot vacuums, and some features are only available on specific models.

Software Features and Description

1. The Roborock app has been designed to give you total control over your Roborock robot, from home layout to cleaning schedules, cleaning strength, and more.

2. Draw up to five zones, and clean each zone up to three times, for when you want to tackle more stubborn dirt or just don't need entire rooms cleaned.

3. After it's first run around your home, your Roborock robot will show you your floorplan and automatically divide your rooms, unlocking a world of customizations.

4. Use up to 10 No-Go Zones and 10 Invisible Walls to avoid thick carpets, keep robots away from delicate art, and more—all without a single hardware add-on.

5. Watch your robot move through your home, seeing the exact route it's taken and any obstacles it has avoided along the way.

6. Your robot will recognize the floor it's on automatically, so you can simply watch it work.

7. Save up to four maps in your home and tailor cleaning to match each floor.

8. Crank up suction for the nursery, use more water on tiled kitchens, and lower suction when you need things quiet.

Download and install the Roborock app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .

Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Roborock on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Roborock"
The search will reveal the Roborock app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Roborock is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Roborock.
Now enjoy Roborock on PC.

To get Roborock on Windows 11, check if there's a native Roborock Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)

For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

Installing Roborock:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Roborock" » Click "Install" to install Roborock
- Roborock will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Good bot, limited by the App

I have a this app S6 and it works mostly fine. It is a pleasure to have this automation. But it is a pain when it stumbles on basic things that are easily fixed in the app: -there needs to be an option to ignore the cliff sensors (globally and by room). If you have a rug or carpet that is dark, the sensors think it’s a black chasm and won’t climb it. We rely on using scotch tape and aluminum foil to foil the sensors. Fix this!! -there needs to be an option for direct drive (RC style) to move the robot out of a jam when you are not home. Pin and Go is a good step, but sometimes we just need it to move in a direction and damm the torpedoes!

I originally used the Mi Home app and then saw some posts where this app works for the S6. It connected easily, transferred all my settings, and then deactivated my this app in Mi Home. Nice! The onboarding process was the same as Mi Home. So you do have to pay attention to what it is telling you to do as you step thru the process. This app works pretty much the same, but seems a bit more refined. I love being able to divide the rooms into zones and sending the robot to do specific rooms.
Incredible vacuum, So-so app

The vacuum itself is unbelievably great, but it’s hampered slightly by its less than average app. This app still needs LOTS of polish. From handling multiple maps, to Google Assistant support, features that exist in Mi Home but not on this app, and overall user interface (which currently looks like an intern or inexperienced programmer developed). However, having said all the negatives, I think the app allows users to accomplish all the necessary tasks required for operating the vacuum (this app S6). I would still highly recommend the this app S6 to anyone despite the minor shortcomings of its associated app.

Leaving this because all the reviewers here seem to not know how to read a product page. We bought the S6 and both my wife and I connected to the robot. It seems to work well. Setup could have been a bit simpler (maybe look at how Alexa does set up) but overall we're very happy 😊. Good thing we read the page before getting salty!
