  • Seriously not ready to be worth your money

    By Disarraygun (Pcmac user)

On first blush this client is attractively minimal, but dig a little deeper and there are some serious issues. Whether or not you prefer a stripped down experience vs the more robust Airmail, there are essential functions that just aren't working yet. Aside from taking a very long time for the inboxes to sync/get up to date on current activity, I have had several instances of the app outright crashing. A couple of times after having composed and trying to send lengthy emails. That is completely unnacceptable. If I could get my money back, I would, simply out of principle, but it's not worth the effort. I could see this being a public beta, or a free trial situation, but as it stands they really have no business asking you to subsrcribe when the core functionality of simply sending an email is a roll of the dice.
  • Needs a lot of work

    By Curt Carmack (Pcmac user)

I'll echo the other reviewers. This needs a lot of work. Based on the recent versions of Airmail for iOS, I believe the developers are up to it, but I'm not sure they can afford to devote the time with all the negative press surrounding their abrupt change of business model. I want to like this, but until I see some significant updates being posted, I've cancelled my subscription. I hope I get the chance to try it again. I'd hate for this to be a failed experiment.
  • A mess

    By famillier (Pcmac user)

It's looks pretty, but it's not ready for prime time. I don't have the time to get into all the buggy behavior that I found in trying to use Airmail this app to respond to a single e-mail. Even though I paid the annual subscription, I'm going back to the previous version of Airmail. I'll return in a few months and try to use this one again. I've been an Airmail user since the beginning, so I trust the developers to get it fixed. They've got a lot of work to do.
  • I do like the what I see.

    By vamp007 (Pcmac user)

The speed is amazing and the UI just like airmail is clean and solid. I'm taking a risk buying it for a year and I'm crossing my fingers you continue to develop it. It does have quirky ui issues that the developer much know about and don't need repeating.
