Install MailTab for Gmail - Email Client app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using MailTab on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MailTab"
The search will reveal the MailTab for Gmail - Email Client app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MailTab is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MailTab.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was looking for a simple but functional email alert to save time and attention. I have tried several different apps, but for me, this one is the best. It is the least intrusive one. You receive timely notifications without being distracted by the content. The window of the app is similar to the interface of your phone. You can delete, search, and compose emails without opening the web page. It has definitely helped me to feel less overwhelmed by emails, and it has improved my productivity. The only shortcoming is the lack of the “attachment" function. Hopefully, this can be addressed in a future version. Overall, good design.

I’ve been using the app for about a week now. It’s a great way to keep track of emails as they arrive, and to do quick reads and quick replies. Think of it as putting the iPhone mail app in your Mac menu bar, and you should have about the right expectations for this app. This is not a replacement for a webmail interface or a full-featured mail app, but rather a supplement. It is very limited in what it does, but I love having the functionality that this app provides.

I’m not thrilled with the stock mail app on the macbook air (you do’t need to save 10,000 drafts every time I write an email) so I thought I’d try this out. It works like a phone app but on your desktop. It’s nice that it’s out of the way, especially if you are using Outlook on your machine for work, etc as your primary email. But if you have to actually craft a thoughtful or professional email, it’s not really designed for that.
