What is BGM For iOS?
This is a companion app for a blood glucose meter that allows users to choose the measurement mode and issue a starting command to the meter via Bluetooth connection. The app provides visual and audio reminders to guide users through the measurement process, and displays the results in a pop-up window while also speaking them aloud. The app can store measurement data for up to 10 testers, and allows users to customize measurement types and correction reference values. The measurement history can be exported in CSV format, and measurement values are color-coded to reflect the user's risk level.
1. A visual diagram and sound will remind the user to follow the steps to start the measurement, after the measurement, the result will show in a pop-up window and spoken at the same time.
2. This APP can adding up to 10 testers and record each measurement with the time and result value for selected tester.
3. Via this APP, the user under measured can choose the measure mode, such as after meal or fasting and issue a starting measure command to blood glucose meter via Bluetooth connection between iDevice and blood glucose meter.
4. For each tester, you can setup the measurement type such as normal person, high risk group, diabetes 2 and diabetes 1.
5. For each tester, you can setup the correction reference value for each testing type and condition.
6. This is the companion APP for the blood glucose meter.
7. Every measurement result will save into the local database of the APP and show as the record history for each tester.
8. The measurement history data can be exported with the CSV format file.
9. The measurement value will show with different color to reflect the high risk, warning and normal state.
10. The measurement result will spoken via the TTS, so the user don't need to see the screen of phone in order to get the measurement result.
