What is BASSalicious 2?

BASSalicious 2.0 is a synth bass application for iOS devices that offers analog and wavetable oscillators, 470 high-quality streaming samples, multi-mode filters, feedback, 22 digital effects, and an extensive modulation system. The app also features 400 presets, 700 wavetables, and warm table technology. It supports iOS 11+, AUv3, IAA, background audio, separate MIDI channel selection, MIDI learn, virtual MIDI, and full 2732 x 2048 HD view. The app requires a 2GHz ARM processor, fast SSD drives for external sample streaming, and is compatible with iPad Pro, iPad, and iPhone X and higher.

Amazing but problems

Wow this thing sounds great, probably the only bass synth you’d ever need. Tons of awesome presets, the kind that bring inspiration! Unfortunately, it’s hardly useful to me because it won’t launch when my iPad is docked on my Focusrite iTrack dock, which connects the rest of my studio 😭. A lesser but still major issue, the keyboard covers most of the controls when it’s open so no tweaking while you play. I really wish the UI could be more optimized so the keys can be visible with full access to controls. I hope these issues are eventually addressed as this would 100% be in my handful of desert island synths.

Thanks for the last update, you did it! AUv3 now scales properly. Developer is totally stepping up the game and providing us with an excellent bass synth. Deserving the full respect and your purchase. So hand over your money and grab this little gem. Worth every penny. Sounds awesome, crazy amount of in depth features and outstanding developer support. Among the best synths on iOS

High-quality sound engine. Excellent interface. Wide variety of useful presets. Largest selection of waveforms I've ever seen. You can pick from dozens of variations of a simple saw wave. This synth gives you a lot of options. It's quickly becoming one of my most-used apps. The developer has been quick with releasing bug fixes.
A must have.

Don’t ask questions just buy it.... for the Special introductory price of 7.99 I had my money’s worth within 2 minutes. A ridiculously fantastic app. Until something proves otherwise this is by far the best bass app of its kind. 5 Stars out the gate
