1. SALVA provides information on local nonprofit and government agencies that provides substance abuse services, help to victims of violence, legal aid, HIV/AIDS testing and services, housing, financial help and training, educational programs, and more.

2. Developed by the Center for Research on US Latino, HIV/AIDS, & Drug Abuse (CRUSADA) at Florida International University (FIU) the SALVA application combines traditional solutions with a novel approach.

3. However, by gathered information on many of the available community services and resources and placing it at the community’s fingertips, SALVA empowers the underserved population.

4. Traditionally such a task would require training community health workers to link hard-to-reach and underserved communities to local resources.

5. Assisting underserved populations to receive the services they need.

6. SALVA is bilingual and informative and maintained by the CRUSADA at FIU.

Install FIU SALVA app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using FIU SALVA on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "FIU SALVA"
The search will reveal the FIU SALVA app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once FIU SALVA is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including FIU SALVA.
