Software Features and Description

1. FTAnalyzer works alongside your existing family tree program and allows you to look deep into your family tree, spotting errors and omissions you didn't know were there.

2. Note that at no time does FTAnalyzer edit your family tree data all the decisions about making any changes to your tree remain in your hands.

3. You simply export a GEDCOM file from your existing family tree software or website and open it in FTAnalyzer to analyse it.

4. It will load your file, show you the details of your tree plus any errors it finds, and generate various reports and analysis on the individuals and families in your tree.

5. So why not break down those brick walls by tidying up your tree and quickly finding information you didn't know was missing.

6. The research suggestions tab allows you to see census entries and view which census you may have missed finding someone on.

7. Then to save you time you can double click on one of those cells to automatically search Ancestry, FindMyPast, FamilySearch or FreeCen.

Install FTAnalyzer app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using FTAnalyzer on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "FTAnalyzer"
The search will reveal the FTAnalyzer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once FTAnalyzer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including FTAnalyzer.
Now enjoy FTAnalyzer on PC.

this app takes the pain and time out of identifying errors I have made in my Family Tree. I can searsh, identify and print out a list of the errors. Then I can systematically make the corrections, checking each one off as I go. Great resource to work large name databases. Thanks!

This is an amazing tool to take your genealogy research to the next level. I've been utilizing the Census Research Suggestions to find which individuals I still need to locate in various years of census. Thanks for bringing this to the Mac platform.
Addition of Print Funtionality is Great!

The addition of print and .csv export are a great addition. Although I use Ancestry.com and Family Tree Maker as my primary GED repositories, this app is great for finding errors, omissions, conflicting info, etc. I was really struggling with keeping my tree "clean" until I found this app. Highly recommended.
