Install InsectSnap - Insect Identifier app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "InsectSnap"
The search will reveal the InsectSnap - Insect Identifier app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once InsectSnap is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including InsectSnap.

Worst app ever

This app is terrible. It identified a spider as an ant. So far not one ID has been even close to being correct. It gives an immediate answer that cannot be brought back to check spelling etc. Not worth the $2.99. Would be a bad choice even if it were free. I would give 0 stars if I could.
Ripped off

I can’t even believe that this stupid app even TRIED to rip us off. All it does is say a random thing. I took a picture of a bug, and it replied “Persian cat.” Please don’t buy this terrible rip off app.
Awful app

I just downloaded this app and it does not work. I would like a refund as it does not identify insects. I took a photo to try and identify an insect and words like “diaper” and “plastic bag” appeared on the screen.

Doesn’t even deserve one star, kept giving us names of kitchen utensils. I want my money back! What a rip off!
