Install Porter Setup app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Porter Setup"
The search will reveal the Porter Setup app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Porter Setup is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Porter Setup.
Now enjoy Porter Setup on PC.

- Neat idea for NFC-enabled devices

- Wood block is aesthetically pleasing

- iOS users have to manually scan a QR code

- Wood block is overpriced

- App doesn't confirm successful configuration

- iOS 13 users have to install a profile, which is a longer process than manually entering a password

- Not compatible with iPhones unless using iOS 13 beta, which was not made clear before purchase

Essentially useless even on iOS 13

It won’t auto fill a WiFi password on iOS 13. It makes you install a profile that contains the password to work. Installing a profile is a much longer process than manually entering a password. So no time is saved.
Neat idea ahead of its time

Until IOS supports NFC for wifi networks this is a neat idea ahead of its time. IOS users will have to open the camera to scan a printed QR code. Setup via the app was easy. Wood block is great and all but overpriced at $39 to hold a piece of paper.
No feedback on success

App doesn't tell you whether or not you have successfully configured your device. Just dumps you back to the same start menu.
Useless

If you have an iPhone, you can’t configure this (unless you have the iOS 13 beta). This was not clear when I ordered. If you read some of the reviews, they talk about older iPhones not working with the nfc but don’t clarify that even with newer iPhone, you still need an android to set up nfc. Effectively, it ends up being a $40 holder for a piece of paper with a QR code on it. Not recommended.
