  • Thank gosh!

I haven't been on the app for any longer than a year and I must say I was using wattpad a lot more than the app because I was frustrated that you couldn’t use the app to write. A lot of the times I don’t have access to a computer and it’s irritating. Being able to write from my phone was so much more convenient. Wattpad allowed that. However, I’ve always liked how formal the app was. It’s more like reading a real book. On wattpad you have to deal with “authors notes” and stuff like that. Pointless dribble. the app is more formal than that which is what I enjoy most. Now that you can write on your phone, I love it even more, probably just as much as wattpad and I’ve been on wattpad for 6 years. Not to mention, so far, the app seems to be just like the computerized version which makes everything so much more enjoyable.
  • Nice, but..

It’s a great app, it’s easy to write on and create new works! I enjoyed my time using it to write, but I do have one large problem with it. As a writer I tend to spend a lot of time focusing on creating my stories and putting much effort into them. Sadly, this morning I awoke to one of the chapters completely gone. I checked the revision history but there was nothing there. I later found out that I had to submit a chapter in order to finish it. I suggest adding in an automatic save feature so a writer can pick up where they left off without having to awake and find out they’ve lost hours of work because they didn’t submit it when it wasn’t fully done. Again, it’s a good app but I’m not happy with the fact there isn’t an automatic save system.
  • Impossible to Use

    By Ethereal92 (Pcmac user)

The idea of the app is amazing. Based off the way everything is laid out and what you can—or should—be able to to, this app should be way better than Wattpad. But it’s not. The reason behind this is that NOTHING WORKS. I tried submitting the first chapter of a book I’d already had written on Wattpad, but the submit option never works. I just keep pressing it, hoping it’ll work, and it doesn’t. So I tried backing out and giving it a second go around, but still nothing. This isn’t just in submitting a chapter. It also won’t let you use the suggested tags, or separate your tag into a second one without using the suggested options. It doesn’t let you save your story after you’ve filled out the title page. It doesn’t save the cover photo you use, even after you smash the save button over and over again. Literally nothing in the app works. Idk if it’s a bug, but I’m deleting the app until it’s fixed. I’ve already got a profile on Wattpad that’s going well for me, and it’s just not worth it to mess with this one, too. Don’t waste your time until it’s fixed, if it ever is. I understand it’s a new app and is still in development, but what’s the point of letting people download it if there’s actually nothing they can do on it.
  • Just a Suggestion

    By AriWritez (Pcmac user)

I've been using this app for a few weeks now and it's amazing! I love how it lays out all the chapters and you get to customize the story that the readers see. However, I've never written on my phone it tablet before and that makes it kind of difficult to really get much work done. So, I just had a suggestion: what if this app was on computers and laptops, either as an app or a website? It would make it much easier. Thanks for reading!
