Download and install the TroveSkin: Skincare Coach app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using TroveSkin on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "TroveSkin"
- The search will reveal the TroveSkin: Skincare Coach app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once TroveSkin is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including TroveSkin.

- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.

A useful skin care resource

This app is very useful. It basically creates a diary kind of format for you to monitor your skins progress and the breakouts that you experienced through blackheads, acne, dry skin and other such things. The app gives you questions to answer about problems you experience with your face, which allow for it to determine solutions for you, so you’ll need to have a good understanding about your skin type.
I think the app holds massive potential but the facial skin Analysis is a bit flawed. The analysis told me my skin is 15 years older than I am, and I don’t have horrible skin.
In conclusion, I think that this app will only become better with time and people need to use this as a diary and not as much for the analysis.

Great for a skin diary, not the analysis

I honestly don’t believe this app does a great job on the skin analysis part, either I’m overthinking the quality of my skin and assume it’s much worse than it is, or it isn’t picking up the spots. Regardless, this does make it really easy to keep a daily log of your skin, what products you’ve used, how you felt, and everything else going on to help you really get intune with your skincare. I love the compare function, it’s helpful to see selfies from different times and then go to check to see if any of your products were different. Overall really really good but not if you’re looking for the analysis purpose!

Very grateful for a FREE yet comprehensive app like this

The best thing about Trove is that it is actually free and doesn’t feel sample-sized or like merely an interactive advertisement like other free apps. There are a lot of useful tools and several different components to play around with. It’s mostly a skin diary, I don’t know how well the analysis tool actually works because it gave me an 87% and I don’t think my skin is anywhere near that healthy looking! But taking the daily pictures and being able to compare them side by side is useful, as is the skin diary which tracks your mood, menstrual cycle status, and products you used that day.

Not great, not terrible.
The only thing I really like about this app is the feature to compare past skin logs. The analyzation feature is completely useless, it completely misses actual dark spots and pores on my face and instead pinpoints the corners of my eyes and mouth as skin issues.
Even when taking photos at the same time of day and the same place the AI does not do a good job of pointing out actual skin issues.
Thankfully the ability to compare skin logs is there because it grants you the ability to see just how wrong the app is when giving you a rating on your skin and how old it looks. One day my skin could look 100 times better than the previous day and yet the app will still say my skin looks like a 35 year olds and is at 61% yet the previous day looked like a 20 year olds and has 89%.
Which is another point, the percentile ranking for people my age does not seem to have an explanation as to whether being in the 6th % or 94% is better, and the percentage rating it seems to give your skin is also quite sketchy as the AI itself does not do it’s job and therefore gives an overall inaccurate reading of the health of one’s skin.
