Install X Air Controller app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using X Air Controller on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "X Air Controller"
The search will reveal the X Air Controller app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once X Air Controller is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including X Air Controller.
Now enjoy X Air Controller on PC.

✔ Pros:

- The app does exactly what it is advertised to do

- Useful for emergency situations when immediate access to the board is needed

- Saves time and effort in adjusting volumes and monitoring mixes

☹ Cons:

- Limited functionality, cannot adjust EQ settings

- Connection is slower and prone to errors

- New features like scanning and syncing can be inconvenient and should be optional

- Not user-friendly for changing EQ settings on iPhone, better suited for iPad use.

This app really is awesome!!! It does exactly what it is advertised to do... to complement the PC/Mac and iPad apps available from Behringer with an iPhone iOS alternative... allowing users to control channel Mic Gain, Phantom Power, Pan, Volume, Gate, Dynamics, Bus Send mixes, Solo, Mute, and channel color schemes.. not to mention similar control functions for the four Effects Engines, all Bus Outputs as well as the Main LR Output! Connects seamlessly to the the app-Air’s WEP enabled password WiFi access point, and syncs in real-time all actions performed by PCs, iPads and iPhones simultaneously synced to the the app-Air device. All that for $5!!! Satisfies me, 100%. If and when it does feature EQ and FX editing capabilities, it’ll be an even better the app-Air killer app! Thanks for developing and making this needed iPhone app available to us!!!
EQ problems

I just got an iPhone so I had to switch to this app for controlling my XR12. I can’t even figure out how to change the EQ high low mid settings for my channels. Going back to using the iPad but the issue with that is I like to connect the iPad to the venue WiFi to use my ultimate guitar app for lyrics. Frustrating.
Worth it for ONE reason ONLY

If you leave the iPad at home and need immediate access to your board to gain up channels and monitor mixes than this will work for you. It is however limited to just adjusting volumes and stuff so no EQ adjusting. I wouldn’t count on this app for anything more than an emergency situation. Still gonna give it 4 stars for saving my life at a show a time or two! Thank you for doing what Behringer should have done.
Love it, but used to be better.

I appreciate the improvements of the last few months. However, connection is way slower and has the possibility for error. I walk into a school gym every morning and connect in a matter of seconds (in the past). Now, I must scan; select; and sync. I’m not opposed to these features, but let me turn them off in settings.
