1. This App has been designed to minimise the impact on your battery life and in most cases will be unnoticeable, but results may vary based on network conditions and usage.

2. To access some of the above features you will need Internet connectivity and be asked to register for an account or sign in using Facebook or Twitter and give permission for storing your ID on our servers.

3. Since 2005 when it began life as an overspilling house party in the deepest, darkest Derbyshire; there has been steady, organic growth.

4. To enable Find-a-Friend to work, you will need to allow the app to access your Contacts as well as location when running in the background.

5. Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

6. For one weekend a year, the stunning Peak District countryside becomes home to Y Not Festival.

Install Y NOT app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Y NOT on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Y NOT"
The search will reveal the Y NOT app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Y NOT is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Y NOT.
Now enjoy Y NOT on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Y NOT Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Y NOT,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Y NOT" » then Click "Install".
- Y NOT will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
