Software Features and Description

1. Orkesteret gjør innspillinger av norske og utenlandske komponister, har konserter over hele verden og står bak flere spennende deltakerprosjekt med barn, ungdom og voksne i alle aldre.

2. BITWaves ble utviklet av Stian Remvik ved BEK (Bergen Senter For Elektronisk Kunst) i 2015 som en musikkapp for BIT20 Ensemble.

3. BITWaves er finansiert av BIT20 Ensemble med støtte fra Norsk Kulturråd og Bergen Kommune.

4. App-en brukes primært i undervisning og formidling rettet mot barn og unge.

5. BIT20 Ensemble ble stiftet i 1989 og er et samtidsmusikkorkester.

6. App-en kan brukes i komposisjonsprosjekter og i musikkproduksjon.

Install BITWaves app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using BITWaves on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "BITWaves"
The search will reveal the BITWaves app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once BITWaves is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including BITWaves.
Now enjoy BITWaves on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native BITWaves Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use BITWaves,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "BITWaves" » then Click "Install".
- BITWaves will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
