Install Synology LiveCam app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Synology LiveCam on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Synology LiveCam"
The search will reveal the Synology LiveCam app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Synology LiveCam is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Synology LiveCam.
Now enjoy Synology LiveCam on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Synology LiveCam Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Synology LiveCam,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Synology LiveCam" » then Click "Install".
- Synology LiveCam will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Works just as expected!

Works well with recording my phone straight to the NAS! My only feature request would be able to record both the front and rear camera at the same time for use as a dash cam.
You have to buy a license???

I can’t believe they require you to buy another surveillance station license to occasionally record to your own NAS using your own phone. That is ridiculous.

This is only a tool to access cameras I’ve already paid for licenses to run. How in your wildest dreams can you justify now charging a license for a tool to access already licensed cameras?
