1. Select your favorite pictures on your phone as a Photo Album Watch Face on your Fitbit or Garmin smartwatch.

2. The watch will automatically cycle through the pictures in your Photo Album or you can tap left/right to see the next picture.

3. The Photo Album Watch Face can be used without connection to your phone.

4. Please be patient when you tap the Download button on your watch, the Fitbit connectivity is slow and unreliable.

5. Don't skip it and make sure that the watch app Photo Album Watch is closed during the Sync.

6. But you need this iPhone app to download new pictures to your watch.

7. On your watch: tap the "..." button and then the Download button to download new pictures from your phone.

8. The Fitbit phone app "Sync" step, shown in the video, is very important.

Photos Don’t Save

I tried giving this app a chance with multiple attempts, but unfortunately I can’t recommend it because it doesn’t work. I was able to download the photos and see them as they were being uploaded, but right after reaching 100% and the app going back the watch’s main screen the app goes back to their three default landscape pictures with my photos erased. I get that maybe there is an issue on Fitbit’s end or maybe it’s an issue for the developers - but the developers’s responses saying it’s Fitbit’s fault isn’t an excuse if we ended up paying for an app that doesn’t work. That’s the bottom line here.

Works great. Easy to use. I don’t understand the negative reviews. My guess is that some folks are not reading instructions. I learned it very easily without watching the video. That alone should show that the app is intuitive and well-done. Transfers are actually much faster than I anticipated. FYI: if you wish to remove the default pics from the que, you need to manually remove them from the que list within the app. This is done by cycling to the picture you wish to remove, and click the “x” in the top right of the screen. The, next time you download your album, the picture will be gone. $2 well spent. Thank you DEVs.

Contrary to all the negative reviews, I found it easy to use when you follow the instructions. The only reason I didn’t give it the 5 it probably deserves is that I am picky about the data I would like displayed and how it is displayed. Having greater control of the color and placement of the time display would be nice (though for the default they did as good as as one could reasonably do). Just anticipate white time numbers in the upper left when selecting and cropping your photos and it should work and look great.

I was unsure wether to buy this app or not because of reading all the reviews. However, I have a Fitbit Versa and if you watch the video and follow the steps, it is very easy. I had no trouble at all and it took me about 5 minuets to complete. The only thing I wish was different would be to be able to move the actual digital clock around instead of it having to be at the top right corner of the scree. But I am very pleased with how the outcome is.
