Please let me save you the Money

I have played all of the Amanita games. Samorost 3 is one of my all time favorite games. I loved Machinarium, though I did encounter some annoying bugs, and Botanicula is a classic. This game however is not up to par. The music and sound is very reminiscent of Loco Roco a cute PSP game from a decade ago. The artwork is quaint and fun so I gave it two stars. The gameplay is flat. I really wanted to love this game. I really had to force myself to finish it so that I didn’t throw money out the window. It just never quite got off the ground. In the beginning I had high hopes as you fly through a series of cute critters in space. When I came to the gelatin on the plate level and had to suffer through the ridiculously boring rock em, sock em robot level I realized there was no saving this game. I feel bad giving it a bad review because I want to support good developers but this game is just lacking on so many levels. Skip this and replay Samorost 3.

😔 I am usually not a mean person towards reviews, but I just HAVE to point this out.
When I first got this game, I had high hopes. But seeing every little speck and corner of this game made my brain automatically
Think: “I’m doing something completely wrong. Am I?” But it was too late. My finger had already pressed the download button. And I just KNEW I was about to go on a terrible ride. No character in this game I cared about. They all felt like a wasted level idea. Music just sounds like some random sounds all mashed together to fit the situation. Story is probably the worst of this review. A little orange monster named this app trying to get a cherry that is always out of his reach? That sounds as simple as Mario trying to rescue Princess Peach! Sorry for all my negativity, but of all the games Animata Design has made, PLEASE skip this one! PLEASE!!!!!!!

Just for kids

I was expecting a more challenging and compelling game, I really enjoyed all the other Amanita design games, the only games I have purchased from the store and World of Goo. I liked this app but more for kids, it is a funny game, some scenes are really hilarious, but It took me 15 days to finish, and not because it was hard, it was because I didn’t even remember it was there. Not like Samorost, Machinarium or Botanicula, for those I couldn’t stop until the end. And the music was not that good either. The characters are cute for what I said, kids. I was disappointed when I realized that it was just that, a funny game. If you have children under 7 they will love this game.

Not like the other games

Personally preferred Machinarium, Samorost 3 & Botanicula this felt like a movie more than a game. Same great art had cute storyline just didn’t feel as challenging as their other games.
Wish I would have saved the $ & waited for Creaks.
Personally, I love Amanita Design, they, as I’m aware have updated apps, I wish other developers would update games I couldn’t even always finish but fell in love with.
