3. If you are a Paratransit or Half Fare customer, contact Customer Service at 515-283-8100 to add those tickets to your MyDART account.

4. Use the Next DART Bus feature to get the real-time arrival of buses and view a map of DART bus stops near your location.

5. When ready to board the bus, activate the mobile ticket you want to use and show your phone to the bus operator to pay fare.

6. Enter your starting point and ending destinations for trip options that best fit your schedule.

7. Buy your bus pass in the MyDART app and start using it on your schedule.

8. DART offers one-way, day, 7-day and 31-day passes for use on all services.

Update—from clumsy to useless

I updated hoping they fixed the ‘tap three places just to display your ticket’ interface. They didn’t. Instead they made it virtually impossible to find the one piece of info anybody using this app would want: when is the next bus coming? It defaulted from my northbound stop to displaying the southbound (because it is ‘nearer,’ maybe?). I apparently have to memorize which number is the southbound one, or tap one to see which direction it’s going & if it’s the right one. I finally figured out to drag down to update, not tap the info you want to get, as in the previous version. Anyway, it’s a mess. I’ll see if Google maps has realtime info & is usable.

Love the new trip planner and the real-time bus locations. This has definitely made my commute a lot easier.
Having issues

When logging into app it doesn’t stay logged in also needs Android version as well where it can be compatible to both android products as well as iOS of all kinds tablets and phones. Also might want to add a profile page for all those that use it besides the login section that needs to keep people logged in on their devices that they are using it on to either purchase or check bus times so the don’t miss appointments, work, school or are going shopping or back home. Just a suggestion that’s all hope to see more updates for this app soon with everything fixed and working right.
Not worth it

I can only get the app to load 1 in 10 times. I buy a ticket and can’t use it because the app won’t load again.
