Install MassDOT BusPlus app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using MassDOT BusPlus on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MassDOT BusPlus"
The search will reveal the MassDOT BusPlus app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MassDOT BusPlus is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MassDOT BusPlus.
Now enjoy MassDOT BusPlus on PC.

Don’t Wa$te your money!

If you purchase either a weekly or monthly pass, it will not open up after a day. Early on when this app was only a couple days after old. I called PVTA customer service. They put me in touch with a superstar who never returned my call. There’s now 18 similar reviews and I see nothing on their website or twitter page. And drivers apparently haven’t been informed of this issue as you typically need to have a 2 min conversation explaining you purchased a pass and it won’t display. This is a rip-off and huge inconvenience for those who purchase passes and any passengers who must be held up because we’re explaining ourselves to the driver. It does indicate the app supports Apple wallet. But there’s no option on the app allowing you to add passes to the wallet. If this feature was present, you wouldn’t have these reviews because anything in the wallet will open. Perhaps that’s where the glitch is? Maybe the app is operating based on that mechanism but the developer forgot to add the launch button?

i NEVER write reviews. But please note, this app is a nightmare. I purchased my monthly pass and after activation- the ticket never opened back up. In order to ride the bus, I would have to go to my purchase history and convince the driver that the card was active- even showing the expiration date of the purchased pass. Countless drivers would not let me on or I had to pay out of pocket even though I just purchased a monthly pass. For an entire month, I’ve had to hope I am able to ride without a 3 minute conversation (causing delays for the other passengers) with the drivers BECAUSE THIS APP IS NONSENSE.

I bought a 7 day pass and the ticket worked fine the first day but now every time I click on it nothing shows up.
App does not allow the purchase of more tickets

Autocomplete for location searching is broken. The first location entered auto completes correctly but when entering the second location, there are no autocomplete suggestions, and it can not be entered manually. This makes it impossible to purchase a ticket.
