What is Superbars? Superbars is an app that allows users to create custom wallpapers for their iPhone or iPod Touch by adding colored or patterned overlays behind the status bar, icons, and Dock. The app offers over 10 million different wallpaper options and more than 300 colors and patterns to choose from. Users can also convert their own photos into wallpapers with the app's simple design.
1. You can choose from more than 300 different colors and patterns for the bars, wallpapers and icon frames, as well as 20 custom wallpapers, and the app's simple design makes it a breeze to convert any of your photos to wallpaper and add the effect.
2. Superbars adds custom overlays to your iPhone's or iPod's wallpaper, displaying them directly behind the status bar, icons, and Dock.
3. IMPORTANT: before you create and set your new wallpapers with Superbars, you MUST change your screen motion settings.
4. Instead, it creates wallpapers with colored or patterned overlays in the same positions as the status bar and Dock.
5. Open the Settings app, choose General > Accessibility, and turn ON the Reduce Motion switch.
6. ***Superbars does not change the color of the iOS status bar or Dock.
7. Reducing the iPhone’s screen motion will also extend your battery life.
8. Note: Superbars will not work with any model iPad.
