“Your Page” and “Casting Notice” tabs needs work

There’s a good number of things this app feels like it should do that it does not. I cannot edit or add any contacts to my profile. I can add images but cannot edit their description after the fact. It says stuff is not IMDb-verified but no indication on how to change that status. I can “turn off” people seeing my bio but I cannot edit my bio. I can not remove projects from my profile. I cannot save search preferences under the casting notice tab. I cannot easily look at who is posting a casting notice to see if it is legit or shady, nor can I report a notice if it does seem illegitimate. It’s nice that I can look at films and people but it’s not very handy for the personal profile editing and casting notices, aspects that would make the app worthwhile to keep on my phone. Because of the lack of personal profile “editability,” using the app is frustrating, putting you in an endless loop of “this SHOULD take me here but it doesn’t, but why would I not be able to do this from the app, it must be somewhere...” I would try to redesign the app to really focus EQUAL parts on the industry info and article side of IMDb AND the personal services that one pays for when they subscribe to IMDb pro. And of course, keeping it very user-friendly.

Thank you for your response. I tried canceling the IMDB PRO app, then reinstalling it and it worked! I could read all the lines... But after a few days it went back to truncated lines. I canceled the app again, reinstalled it (yesterday) and it’s good again, but how long will it last? Pierre Thank you for contacting me... Here is the problem... I work a lot with IMDB. At times I have to go on IMDB PRO to check ho represents an actor, etc... So I request IMDB PRO and the following happens : 1) I have to rotate my IPad, and IMDB PRO appears in a vertical rectangle smaller than my IPAD screen.. 2) Maybe due to that, the right side of each line is illegible, cut off.... I’ve tried everything, but nothing works! It wasn’t like that a few weeks ago, but now it does it all the time. I think you’ve changed something, and it’s not working well with IPads. Thank you again for looking into it. Pierre David IMDB PRO comes vertical on my IPad, in a small format where all the lines are cut out to the right. Are you correcting the problem? It started about 2/3 weeks ago Thank you
Downloaded and using

Just downloaded today. Checking it out.... so far - and it has gotten me to update my page, it looks good. I haven’t been able to edit through the app, but it definitely looks better than via the website on mobile.
No Photos, Disappointing

It’s great to have the this app info in an iOS app, but It was very disappointing to find that you cannot see profile photos. I use IMDb Pro on my computer instead of standard IMDb, but with this app, I will have to bounce between the two... Pro for detailed industry data, and the standard to see what the people look like! The developers should at least create a hot link to the standard IMDb app profile page for the person your looking at so you don’t have to type in an entire new search in the standard app!
