1. As the Lumix cameras only support 640*480 resolution over the Wifi connection the image is scaled on your device.

2. GMonitor is a simple Field Monitor application for Wifi capable Lumix cameras like the Lumix G6,7,81,85, GX8, GX80/85,GH4/5.

3. Caution for GH3 users - as reported by some users there is no live view during recording on some GH3 models.

4. After connection you can view the live view fullscreen on your iPhone or iPad.

5. Simply enable wifi on the camera and connect the app with camera.

6. You have the option for different display modes including anamorphic desqueeze.

7. Also it is possible to display 1:2.35 crop marks.

8. It seems that not all GH3 models exhibit this bug.

9. This is a bug of the camera.

Install GMonitor app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using GMonitor on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "GMonitor"
The search will reveal the GMonitor app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once GMonitor is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including GMonitor.
Now enjoy GMonitor on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use GMonitor,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "GMonitor" » then Click "Install".
- GMonitor will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Better Than Panasonic! Looking For More.

I'm using this app with my GH4 in 4K 100MBPS UHD, at 24fps. This app is way better than the proprietary app offered by Panasonic, but I'm hoping it will be improved in two major ways. 1) No latency. 2) Better picture quality. The image is very grainy, and the latency is distracting when self monitoring. I will gladly pay another $3.99 for this app if these improvements are made. Thank you!
Don't waste your cash or time. Stopped working after 2 weeks

Stopped working after 2 weeks. I get a circle with a line across it. Will connect at time but still will not run. Save your cash and put it towards a real more affordable monitor.
No Focus Peaking while Recording

Makes this app useless for me. Focus Peaking is there while not recording but once I hit the record button, no peaking. If you don't need this feature then this might work for you.
