  • Great idea - Poor Execution.

I had high hopes for this app. The installation process for iOS is somewhat simple, but for a Kindle it’s near impossible. I am in IT as a career and it still took me an hour. The app started out well, but as time went on it waned quickly. The parent app crashes constantly. It also shows information inconsistent with the web site. It showed that our kids hadn’t been on the device in days, even while they were on it right next to us. It showed Twitter was blocked, but our oldest still accessed the site and created profiles. Support is non-existent. The email support is helpful, but I would expect more information to be available online. We canceled our subscription and went to Qustodio. Much better install and it actually works.

This should never be a thing. If you want the trust of your child don’t regulate and restrict them. The only use I found this useful for was to see how much they are on and even then you don’t need an app to do this, iPhone has this built in. I don’t want to know when my teenage children search “inappropriate” content. Stop shielding your virgin children. Just speak with them. Taking things away from them doesn’t necessarily make things better, help them realize their faults and keep there trust and respect. Parents aren’t meant to be an all powerful dictator over their children, raise them to be respectful but not respectful and ignorant. They will always strive to be like you. Teach them the right morals. Blah blah blah ran rant rant wake up don’t download this app grrr angry 😡

Is there a zero star option?? Doesn’t deserve 1 star! I should of read reviews before I purchased. Devices constantly lose connectivity to servers and is quite frustrating. 90% of the time the devices can’t access the internet. At the price you pay, the app should just work and not have to make ‘configuration changes’. I can’t believe this is still allowed in the App Store. What a rip off. No wonder they make you pay a year in advanced. After one month, no one would continue the subscription.
  • Not the best

    By jdshixhdbds (Pcmac user)

I’m a parent of one and she has gotten into some stuff, well I tried putting something on her phone that would keep her safe and then I found this well a few days after it wasn’t doing what it said it was doing it was logging out and it would not alert me on anything my child was going on yes the app is ok but it’s not the best.
