Install eSmartCam app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using eSmartCam on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "eSmartCam"
The search will reveal the eSmartCam app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once eSmartCam is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including eSmartCam.
Now enjoy eSmartCam on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use eSmartCam,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "eSmartCam" » then Click "Install".
- eSmartCam will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- App connectivity to developer's site has had brief interruptions in service

- Notifications for motion detection only show one picture at a time

- No option to turn on/off the camera

- No option to provide restricted access for shared videos

- Update caused sound output issues and requires multiple attempts to fix

We bought the camera a couple years ago and it has been great, up until a couple weeks ago after an upgrade. I get notifications that motion was detected, but can only view it from the notification, not in the app. So if I get a few notifications, I can only view one pic. If I click messages to view pictures, it will not come up and I have to wait until I can view the video. It’s very aggravating. I would change review on here, if it would work right. I was going to purchase more cameras for our home, but since they have yet to fix the problem, I’m going to opt for another brand.

1. Need to have an option where users can turn on/ off the camera. Now even the device don’t have a power button. To this is a must do requirement. 2. As an admin, I can share the video, but there is no such option to provide restricted access. Like restrictions on cam movement, restrictions on audio etc. 3. There is no option to switch the wifi. Suppose if I go to a friends house and I carry the cam. There should be an option to switch the WiFi network. 4. The app don’t have a logout button. This is needed. 5. The software can have a feature to show which shared users are currently accessing the cam. 6. If there can be an option to cast the video on tv. 7. As the cam is on WiFi network, you can capture the location in the video footage. 8. There can be a timer option , so that the users can specify the time the cam will remain on. Like I might need the cam on from 7:00 PM to 10:PM .

Rating based on cost, ease of use and quality of video and audio. There are ways it could be improved from a software and troubleshooting perspective. Functionality depends on app connectivity to developer’s site which has had some brief interruptions in service (the message that appears makes it seem as if it’s YOUR network connectivity when it’s THEIRS).
App update needs a patch

I’ve been using the anmade 720 security camera as a baby monitor for a while now. It’s been great. However, with the update a few days ago (which updated automatically even after I kept saying “no” to the install) whenever I open another app, I lose the sound output through my camera on the this app app. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries of closing the app and then restarting it to get the sound to work through the app. Please fix this or give me a way to download the previous version!
