Immediately Exceeded My Expectations!

At this very moment, I have 3 different “Pomodoro” style time management apps installed on my Mac, but I think that’s about to change! I will say, I was initially was very skeptical of this app mainly because it allows access to pretty much all features, with no ads, for FREE. Too good to be true right? WRONG. I’ve only been using this app for a few days at this point and I’m already blown away by the design and functionality this app offers! Even the star incentives you can get for creating and completely planned task, which can be used to unlock themes (vs having to buy them), has been a fun way to stay engaged with the app. The only “complaint” / feature I wish the app had is the ability to detach it from the menu bar while adding/editing tasks. But that’s hardly a deal breaker!
Great App - I Stay On Task!

I was looking for a customized task timing app that I could use to help me stay focused and reward myself at work. this app is fantastic! I can set up my tasks for the day, time tasks with breaks or without them, and assign rewards for completing tasks! I set up my tasks in short bursts of about 2-3 hours in total for all tasks. This way, once that set is finished, I can reflect and refine what I might do for the rest of the day based on what I have already completed. I love this desktop app, and I hope they’re looking at developing one for iOS as well!
Keeps you on track, would love a summary of time planned

I love the functionality of this app for helping me plan my day and stay focused. But, in terms of planning, I’d really like to see them add a summary at the top of the today view tallying the number of hours planned. As I add tasks to “today” it would be nice for me to see how much time I have booked for myself, instead of just the total number of tasks I’m getting done. Have I accidentally planned for 12 hours of work when I only have 10 to spend? Of course you can add everything up manually, but it would be a nice feature for the app to do this automatically for you. I think that would be much more helpful than summarizing the number of tasks, which can be meaningless.

It was surprisingly difficult to find a good app that does precisely what this app does well - keep a 'todo' checklist with a running timer for each task. So far, I am very pleased with this program. It is easy to use with an intuitive interface. There is even a rewards system whereby you can trade it points (earned by completing tasks) for different background themes. It’s obviously a trivial prize, but any kind of incentive structure can aid motivation. Great app!
