What is IDOLCHAMP?

The IdolChamp app is a platform for fans to support their favorite K-pop artists. It offers various features such as pre-voting for "Show Champion" and events on MBCPLUS, artist benefits only available at IdolChamp, different ways to support artists, broadcast video content, and quizzes. The app also has an SNS section and customer service.

Software Features and Description

1. - Please support your artist with various benefits that can only be seen on IDOLCHAMP, such as subway ads, outdoor ads, PC bang music videos ads, magazine ads, and YouTube ads.

2. - Please fill the waiting room of your favorite artist's ‘Show Champion’ with what the artist likes by voting to decorate the waiting room.

3. - Pictures/Video/File: Access to gallery related to profile pictures, use stored files on the device related to the charging station, and external storage of the device.

4. - If you make your artist 1st on the IDOLCHAMP chart every month, TV CF and special benefits will be provided for a month.

5. - At IDOLCHAMP, you can cheer for artists with outdoor ads you want by raising money for fandom advertisements.

6. - Please participate in voting on various topics with special benefits that come up every day.

Bots, Cheating, and Language Barrier

I really love this app and how ya fans can support the idols. However, while some people use actual money to buy chamisa, other people use bots that spam until they win. I know this because 20+ usernames consisted of random numbers and letters would write the same message over and over again on their fandom homepage... including the punctuation and spacing mistakes. Another aspect that could be improved is the language barrier. In many quizzes, the answers are only in Korean which makes it hard to understand.

It’s fun and all, and I speak Korean so I understand it, but for those who don’t speak Korean, it would be hard to use. Secondly, there are way too many ads and all of them are at least 30 seconds and you can’t even skip! It gets annoying all the time cause when I’m trying to take a quiz, I have to wait a minute to take it and to get the answer..
Company doesn’t care. They allow the use of bots!!!

There are people who pay THOUSANDS to see their group win while others use artificial intelligence to win on the daily chart. For weeks now, I have witnessed another team using a mass voting mechanism that can only be explained as an in-app bot. How is this fair??? How can a company allow themselves and, essentially, their customers to be duped everyday??? You are allowing every system to be cheated. I hope the devs see this review and address these concerns ASAP.

Say the app is in English and Korean but having a hard time trying to figure out how to change the language over to English. Wondering to get some help on that???? I use the app to vote for BTS!!
