Install PhotoSpring app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using PhotoSpring on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "PhotoSpring"
The search will reveal the PhotoSpring app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once PhotoSpring is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including PhotoSpring.
Now enjoy PhotoSpring on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use PhotoSpring,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "PhotoSpring" » then Click "Install".
- PhotoSpring will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

- Sign up experience is lacking.

- App crashes when uploading pictures.

- No success notification for uploaded pictures.

- Photos cannot be uploaded using an iPhone.

- Frame only successfully received uploaded photos once.

Great idea looking forward to improvements

The sign up experience is lacking. The email verification should take me back to the app to continue my sign up experience. My first go at uploading pics crashed the app. Second attempt seemed to work but how would I know as a family member uploading to a device. Our use case is as a purchase for our grandmother who isn’t technically savvy and family around the US uploads pics on the app to propagate to the device. As a user uploading without the device in hand, I would like a success notification for the number of pics I uploaded. Additionally I would like to see which pics I uploaded so I don’t upload the same ones twice. Great idea.

Even with the latest version of the app, photos will not upload using an iPhone. Period. Seriously, find another digital photo frame that will actually allow you to upload and enjoy your photos. Super frustrating and the online guidance is pitiful and just avoids customers with issues (comments closed, manual upload instructions that don’t work, no recent troubleshooting advice, etc) - you’re really on your own with this one if you get this frame.

The frame has only gotten the photos we uploaded once. Every other time it fails. A terrible experience
