Install SkyThunder RC app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using SkyThunder RC on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SkyThunder RC"
- The search will reveal the SkyThunder RC app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once SkyThunder RC is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SkyThunder RC.
- Now enjoy SkyThunder RC on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use SkyThunder RC,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SkyThunder RC" » then Click "Install".
- SkyThunder RC will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Error downloading recorded videos

You can see content live as you fly your drone, but when you're done flying and try to watch the video the app tells you to download it first.
When trying to download the video the app gives an error and crashes.
Even then you take the memory card out of the camera and pull it up on a computer, the video file is empty and unwatchable. You must first download the content from the app.
This is a major issue as some people bought the drone purely for the ability to save and watch the videos taken later.
This company is selling an unfinished test product to the public as it doesn't have all the functionality claimed

How is Sky Thunder letting months pass without fixing this app? It gives the distinct impression that the company is extremely small, outsourced the development of the app, and does not have budget to finish the job. This is not a viable product in its current state and Sky Thunder owes refunds to a lot of customers if they simply don't intend to do anything about this. Really bizarre. This app DOES NOT WORK and should get zero stars but, for some reason, zero stars is not an option.

Why buy a drone with a camera when you can't even watch the video that you just recorded ?? The instructions are poorly explained and this app REALLY needs an update. Every time I try to download even a short video from it, the app just crashes. I read other reviews so it isn't just my phone not working. The only good thing is that it actually connects and shows up live on my phone from the camera. Please update soon or now.
