The app tells you when the bus is coming. Either on time or delayed. Ok, so the bus system is not perfect but at least you know and not guessing!

Accurate real time tracking, trip planning, alerts and notifications. Sometimes I am confused whether I can and where to tap for more info. I find it annoying I can’t just find bus schedules for a given location just by route number alone. Rarely, it can’t find a starting point or destination you enter in the search field even when it’s obvious, like “Alewife busway”.

Sometimes this app is spot on and sometimes this app claims a bus is coming or has already come when it is running early or late and then this app is completely useless. I would consider paying for this app if it was consistently accurate/I could see the location of buses on the map. The trip planning feature is amazing when it works correctly.
Be Careful and Double Check MBTA Website

I have to check the MBTA website before using the app to ensure that the bus that is “10min” away is showing on MBTA and will actually come. The issue of showing buses that are not coming doesn’t happen every time, but has happened enough that I can’t reliably use the app anymore.
