1. Ideal for saving roaming charges or having to find the local wifi to access the built-in map application.

2. You don't need to have internet connection for this to work as the map is stored on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

3. The source of the map is from Open Street Map, under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 2.0 licence.

4. This app allows you to browse street level map of Boston when you are traveling.

5. We are currently building and field testing support for GPS and this will be released as a free update soon.

6. You can pinch to zoom in and out of the map just like you can with the built-in map application.

There was just too many colors of roads or walkways. Who knows what they were without a key. Not very easy to navigate.

You can't zoom in and the map is too small and low resolution

This app is perfect for getting a good feel for the layout of the city but not very useful as a navigation aide. It is not location aware. There is no way to search for cross streets or even to search for anything. This app is for those just in need of hints on how to get somewhere, not explicit turn-by-turn instructions. I look forward to new versions with city/street search.
