  • Pretty functional but there are issues

    By Heistenberg (Pcmac user)

I love the training program I am completing using this app (and I never, ever thought I would buy something from an “influencer”). So it is definitely useful. The app itself if functional but there are a few problems. First of all, it doesn’t keep time correctly! By the end of an hour-long workout, it is up to a couple of minutes behind my watch. Seems like that should be a pretty basic thing to get right. It also sometimes saves my set history double or even triple (saying I completed the sets 1-2 extra times, all with the same time stamp). It doesn’t have a way to time non-rep based exercises (like 30s on/30s rest). I have to time them using my watch because of the aforementioned issue with keeping time. Finally, the max weight that can be input (other than “custom”, which can’t do units) is 200#. I think it should go to at least 400. As a feature suggestion, I would love a way to download the programs I’ve bought so that I don’t need constant Internet access to complete them. This would be really useful. On the positive side, I am impressed with how little battery the app uses, even when I have it open for an hour at a time. I have an older phone and was afraid that it would eat through my battery life, but that’s not the case at all.
  • Love this app but problems

By Joseph S Fitzgerald (Pcmac user)

This app is wonderful I’ve used it to save thousands of dollars over using a personal trainer. Now there’s issues with the app one of them is the timer will freak at least stop randomly and you lose 20 minutes of time because you don’t notice that it had stopped. Another problem is when you save things under notes they don’t always save. Another problem is it supposed to save your progress but sometimes your progress is just deleted like is if you never did it before so you have to remember where you were at last time you did a work out. Another problem is if you use more than one device it doesn’t save your progress or are your notes from one device to another. So I found a lot of glitches in this app I don’t think the software has finished being developed yet. But for the price that is and how much a personal trainer cost it is a wonderful app for what you get. I would also like to see verbal instructions in the instructional videos. Sometimes the videos can be a little confusing on what you’re actually trying to do. Today I had another problem when I went to complete my work out it logged me out and make me log back in in all my information was deleted, recently did an app update put lost all set history
  • Outstanding.

I’ve never seen or even heard of anything like this app. It’s amazing. It’s an ultimate, convenient tool for people to follow an athlete’s workout. It’s a great way to monitor your time spent exercising, notes per workout, reps, sets, splits, dates, and more. I love how every time I’m on a workout, I can easily see the dates/notes/stats of my last workout to clearly give me direction. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in taking their fitness to the next level. After 1 week, I’m already obsessed. For the creators, I’d like to see an option that displays in the reps that you weren’t able to complete the amount of reps that the workout provides. I understand that you can leave a comment in the notes but I’d like to see it display on the main screen with the reps. Maybe in like red font showing me in the future that “hey you weren’t able to get all of the reps required.” This will help me know what weights to use in the future times I try that exercise. Thank you for reading this!
  • Exercise Check Box Limitations

    By Nafferly (Pcmac user)

I love this app! The only problems I have with it are that if you have multiple sets of the same exercises (with the same number of reps) on the same day, when you do one of them and check it off it automatically marks the other iterations of that exercise complete, too. So when I have three circuits of burpees for 30 seconds each, when I finish the first one and mark it done, it marks all the sets of burpees as being done. This is annoying because I can’t accurately track how far I am into my workout! Also, this app doesn’t work well with progressive overloading. I have three sets of squats, with the first one at 50% max weight, second set at 75% max, and third at full max weight. Unfortunately, when it asks me to input the amount of weight I’m using each time, it erases the weight I used for the set before that and replaces it with the new number. Fix these things, and the app would be perfect!
