Software Features and Description

1. If you already watch everything through streaming apps, Channels lets you finally watch sports, award shows, local news, and other live events on your same device.

2. Channels requires an HDHomeRun networked TV tuner to watch live TV on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.

3. Note: Channels does not support Picture in Picture mode on the iPad or AirPlay on any device due to the video format provided by the HDHomeRun tuners.

4. • Already using antenna for live TV? Channels lets you use one antenna to watch TV on all the devices in your home.

5. • Pick your favorite channels by selecting your HDHomeRun device in the Settings tab and tapping on a channel.

6. Channels lets you play, pause, and rewind local or cable TV directly on your Apple TV with your HDHomeRun TV tuner.

7. • Want sports on your porch? News in the kitchen? Channels lets you watch these anywhere in the home.

8. • Watch live primetime TV, local news, and sports on your Apple TV.

9. Channels requires modern iOS devices and 802.11AC wireless for HD streaming.

Install Channels for HDHomeRun! app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Channels on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Channels"
The search will reveal the Channels for HDHomeRun! app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Channels is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Channels.
Now enjoy Channels on PC.

Make it easier

I had some problems with the settings it will not let me get to the live TV so I need you to make that easier for me it won’t let me go anywhere else and then that keeps on saying front load speaker left and it’s getting kind annoying so I would like you to help me and make it easier for me because it’s very hard and it might be hard for other people I know I gave you five stars but they might give you four or three or something else but all I’m saying is just make it easier so everyone else can enjoy it thank you

So I have had HDHomerun for a few years now and recently the ipad version stopped working, I would get sound and no video. I tried contacting them several times and haven’t heard back from them. For what ever reason I did a search and this program came up. I downloaded it and instantly it worked. It’s laid out better than the HDHomerun software and so far hasn’t had any issues. I am now back to my cable cutting ways. Take that direct tv!

Compared to the native HDHOMERUN app this is miles ahead. Having a choice between the show thumbnails and a traditional grid guide is awesome. Though DRM this app apparently have problems it’s not that big a deal to me as I can access those this app using their own app. Connecting to my really old HDPrime has been flawless and the picture quality is perfect. Being able to browse the channel guide and change the channel via the iPad app is just icing on the cake!

With two HD Home Runs and this app I’m getting more than ever out of my Verizon subscription. I have the equivalent of four set top boxes plus access on all of our phones and iPads for a fraction of the cost of what it would be through Verizon. The lack of DRM support is worth noting, but it only effects Fox this app and the Big Ten Network for me and there are dedicated apps that can supply those as well. No hesitations and no going back for me.
