Audio does not work

I never got the audio to play properly. Progress bar moves but no sound. I checked and rechecked my music and other audio apps, which work fine. This is using internal iPhone 5s speaker, Bluetooth disabled.
No Audio

Can’t get the audio to output. App appears to be playing an audio file but no sound. Checked my phone with other apps and setting. All seems to be fine. iOS 11.4.1
