Seeing doubles
By American Noir (Pcmac user)
One of my biggest issues with this is the icons. I see doubles of my iPhone iPad and Apple TV. I'm not sure why. The other issue is there no alternate view that shows the devices info. I have to go into each device to see the IP and Mac addresses. I'd also like the ability to name smart devices that do not show. I do like the simple interface though it's easy with a big blue scan button but maybe just too simple on the info displayed.

wifi only?
By no nick-name needed (Pcmac user)
Needs work. Claims to "find all the devices connected to your local network in any environment”, but does not recognize my default WIRED network (displays a “Do no support network” message), and finds zero devices. Returns some info when Wi-Fi is enabled, but is unable to identify the details around most of my devices (command line ’nmap’ is the the standard I’d judge discovery against). Decent UI, but wastes lots of space. Nice pop-up on the menu bar.

Awesome tool

Great job on this guys. I’m an experienced data center architect with 15 years of work in the field. I can say for certain that this tool is excellent in terms of simplicity and usability.

I do not have this software installed!
By dtoqd+FE9/sEahwgs+OfdukbGKLutB (Pcmac user)
Why is this software appearing in my app store updates?! I do not have this software installed. It does not appear in my Applications folder. App Store won’t let me delete this crap from my list of updates. I don’t want it. IS THIS ADWARE?
Mac OS X’s biggest glaring weakness: NO SANE PACKAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM! No way to cleanly uninstall apps that are somehow registered, yet have no icon, do not show up in search and only cause great annoyance.
