If you want to install and use the Pokémon GO app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Pokémon GO in the search bar and press Search. Click on Pokémon GO application icon. A window of Pokémon GO on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

Download on Andriod, Iphone
Free On iTunes
Download Android

Thank you for reading this tutorial. Have a nice day!

Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. • Engaging and Enjoyable

I’ve been playing since July of 2016, right after launch. I had never played the card game but was intrigued by the way the game seemed to be getting people of all ages excited. I play pretty much every day and, while it isn’t perfect, I have appreciated every update and enjoy the continuing expansion of the Pokeverse. The best thing about this game is the way it can appeal to all ages. I play with a group that includes children and retirees, men and women, gay and straight, cancer survivors, transplant recipients and a few with Autism. I love how the game gets people off their couch and out visiting different locations, and meeting new people. The Community Day events have been particularly spectacular for this. The game does have some flaws, especially if you live in rural areas where your options for play may be limited, but I think Niantic has done a good job of offering special events that help balance the game and give a boost periodically to those folks, and the addition of trading has given players a way to connect, somewhat, with players globally. It is not yet perfected, but a huge step forward. If you want a game that you can play alone, with family, or with friends, one that will help you meet new people and give you a way to make exercise fun, rather than boring, this is definitely one to try. If you played in the beginning but got bored, come back and give it a second look. Many things have changed and and you will enjoy the improvements.
  • Should be called PokemonGo 2.0

This game had a rocky start. It was super popular and the servers couldn’t handle it. Now the developers push a new event almost all the time. Getting mew was fun and challenging(Ditto). Celebi and Spiritomb were arduous to obtain but Meltan has been extremely challenging because I don’t have a Nintendo switch. They have also pulled off some very awesome community days once a month where you get a similar ambiance to when the game first came out. Tons of people playing! They also used one of them to introduce a new mythical Pokémon in a very creative way. I have enjoyed the new raid and research updates. We just need more ways to get silver pinaps. Trading has been introduced to the game in a way that doesn’t ruin it and trading rare Pokémon with strangers is costly but with people you interact with daily it’s cheap. The game is mostly free to play but I have personally spent some money on it. There was an egg event and I wanted more incubators. Anyways I wasn’t ever forced to buy anything and it isn’t like other apps where they throw sales in your face as pop ups every time you log in. You can earn 50 in game coins per day without paying a dime but that can be drastically easier or harder based on where you live. In the past year this game has drastically changed into something truly addictive and fun to play. I can’t wait to see what they bring to the game next year.
  • I’m always outside, thanks Niantic!

I am loving all of the events and things we have to look forward to. Community days were a great idea. Friends and trading were wonderful updates that added a lot to the game, though I wish that there was an option to toggle off the exact location and map directions in the gift you send people. Even better if you could turn on/off per friend level or even individual friends as well as an all on/off. Also, if you could create a kind of lure for gyms where raids are happening, and nearby players could see that and head over because they know people are there to raid. Lure could last 5-10min so people can wait for it to run out (and if they don’t want to wait, they don’t use the lure). And nearby players can view the raid and leave like a thumbs up or thumbs down so others know someone is on their way. The GO community has really come together and made raid planning possible in a lot of places, but this would be more inclusive to those that haven’t joined their local community or that live rurally and have a hard time getting enough people. These are just suggestions for improvements to an already amazing game that I am pretty happy with, Pokémon GO has come a long way since those first several months of release where I always seemed to be annoyed at Niantic. So, well done :)

I’ve played Pokémon games over 20 years. Pokémon Go is a great mobile game that combines entertainment and daily health keeping. However, as a Pokémon game, it needs more interactivity between people. Many people are waiting for PVP since the first day when the game has lunched. The current mechanics seems pretty simple (horizontal swipe, no special attack/defense, no Mega Evolution/form change, etc). For example, Deoxys and Giratina have multiple forms base on the original design, but not just catch them separately (without form change function). It looks like they are different Pokémon, but not the one who has ability to change form. Also, some Pokémon colors are weird after Niantic uses Unity 3D as game engine (e.g. Staryu). Also, Niantic should make more choices for the Style function. If people can change their in-game hair, face or add more item will be better. Finally, John Hanke has mention he is trying to bring all Niantic games to the mainland China, but it seems like not very easy. People can understand Chinese market has different policy, but it could corporate with big companies such us Tencent or NetEase to open the market. Hope people in the mainland China can play Pokémon Go as same as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. This valuable IP made by Nintendo and Game Freak should allow everyone can join it before copy cats occupy the market. Thank you.

  • Love the game but frustrated

    By kyuubiqueen
Listen, I really enjoy playing this game overall but there’s been a few things that are starting to irk me. I complete field research EVERYDAY to get the dang box at the end of the week and have gotten spammed by Moltres. Yeah it was cool at first, I got a shiny....waited another week got a regular one so that I can kind of deal with. Now I just got my 3rd one in a row therefore I will never be able to “catch them all” considering they’re only available in certain timeframes. Now there’s no way I can get Lugia AND Ho-Oh this month even though I’m an everyday player. But I have 3 Moltres, 2 Articuno and 3 Suicunes. Smh. NONE of the other legendaries like Zapdos or Entei or anything. Disappointed.

Love the game! I play all the time with my brother and my friends! The updates are great but I’m currently not receiving coins from holding gyms even though it says max coins received. I will leave the rate a 5 star because it’s still my favorite game but I would appreciate if this could get resolved quickly because I’m trying to utilize this event to the fullest.
  • I like the game but...

When I got this game I sighed in after that I was about to catch my first Pokemon but there were 3 Pokemon instead of 1 and they were squeezed together and I couldn’t catch one can you fix that?
  • LOVE IT!

It’s a perfect idea to get people moving while they’re having fun. Let me tell you it’s worth your time!

Love the game but I I just have one main issue. I live in a small town with not many people playing this game and I find it very difficult to take down the raid bosses 3 star and up. Is there any way you can make raids easier for a solo player? I don’t have the luxury of 10 other people helping me out with legendary raids.
  • Kids account equality!

    By kids accounts pokemon go
So my kid has a kids account but their friends don’t and apparently they don’t have a trainer code for kids accounts so she can’t friend, trade, or battle other players, or at least, we can’t find anyway to do so
