What is MedPoint?
MedPoint is an app that allows any PACS on the market to securely send Radiology studies to an iOS device. The app has a built-in viewer that physicians can use to view studies and receive push notifications when a study has been received. The app is more secure than downloading DICOM images to a local computer, as it encrypts the transfer and storage of all files and has a self-destruct feature to ensure even anonymized and encrypted files are destroyed. The app also has a Telehealth communications integration that allows providers to securely chat, communicate via 2-way audio and 2-way video, and even screenshare what they see on a particular study. The app also has a Critical Findings mode that ensures important messages are received and acknowledged.

2. You can query your PACS through a web browser and push studies to your device if automated rules don't suffice.
