Software Features and Description

1. If your radio doesn't have a network connection, we recommend a WiFi-RS232 converter, such as the Global Cache WF2SL or the Grid Connect RN370.

2. AIS (Automatic Identification System) transponders are carried by all large ships, all passenger vessels, and many recreational boats.

3. Note: you need an AIS radio, or access to a public or private AIS feed, to use SkunkTracker.

4. Your boat's AIS transponder may have a network interface already, and if you can connect to the same network you can use that radio.

5. SkunkTracker displays live, updating maps of ships and boats.

6. Your radio can be connected via WiFi or via cellular data.

Install SkunkTracker app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using SkunkTracker on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "SkunkTracker"
The search will reveal the SkunkTracker app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once SkunkTracker is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including SkunkTracker.
Now enjoy SkunkTracker on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native SkunkTracker Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use SkunkTracker,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "SkunkTracker" » then Click "Install".
- SkunkTracker will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
