  • No issues here

    By shythead1196 (Pcmac user)

I haven’t had a single issue others have mentioned. Yes, there’s information from Wikipedia for many of here sites but that gives you some quick, basic information. Overhead photo is the default, yet easy to switch to Google or Apple maps, Google street view, etc. Great app to find places to visit on a trip or hidden gems in your hometown!
  • Not bad, but...

    By BAR112 (Pcmac user)

I see this app was updated several weeks ago; however, they left out one thing: ability to link to Wikipedia to actually read some info about the places! I can scroll (not easily) around the map to find places nearby. I can click on the pin and see a map view, but that’s it. I would say it’s still not worth paying anything for (got it for free) in this stage. Developers: nice try but please let us click on the “i” and go straight to the Wiki article.
  • Junk app - move on

    By sumowondertoad (Pcmac user)

App installed and booted fine. Seems to work as intended. However, the information it provides is complete nonsense. Where and how it gets the data is a mystery. Apparently there’s an historic petroleum filling station on my property in Washington state. When I click on it, it shows my info for something in Ohio. None of the known historic state historic sights seem to be showing up, either. So, of the whole point of the app is to make a database easy to use, better make sure the app uses the database correctly! Better off just using any map app and searching for historic spots in the area.
  • Works fine for me.

    By johnly (Pcmac user)

Quick response. Finds sites of interest I hadn't known. Detailed information includes a street map pinpointing the location and a paragraph or so of site's significance. Nice app. Thanks.
