Excellent replacement for the stock Music app

this app may not be the slickest-looking or intuitive music app available on the App Store, but its customisability, speed and responsiveness make up for its aesthetic shortcomings. Since Apple changed its default Music app to prioritise streaming subscriptions and cloud-based music, it’s become more difficult to listen to one’s own carefully curated music library using the app. Music constantly returns to the main Library page if you switch apps, loses your place if you’re browsing songs by titles, and keeps pushing radio and streaming. Foobar2K acts like the good old-fashioned Music app: it remembers your place if you’re viewing songs as a list, doesn’t send you back to the home screen, lets you add custom folders, and doesn’t push streaming plans at you. And best of all, it’s completely *free of charge*.
Beautiful, but not for streamers

If you’re new (like me) into the world of audio, and all you have done was stream music, this app won’t do you any good. It only plays music you have bought on iTunes etc. If you have a large iTunes library, it’ll take a very very very long time for the app to transfer everything (I’m still waiting but that’s fine I have like 12k songs on apple music). Great format for viewing music I love it; does what apple doesn’t want to do i.e. make it easy for you to find your music. I don’t have the other complaints most people have with this app, particularly because they’re expecting the whole darn website from windows to be transported when that’s not really how apps work...totally worth the free download!
Needs More Sort Options

Great music playing app, however, I’d love to sort just by Artist, rather than only being able go sort by Album Artist. There is an advanced search option by Artist/Album, but some songs I have aren’t part of any albums, so I’d love to just be able to scroll through all my songs sorted by Artist, just like how I can currently sort by Title.

1. can't delete songs by album, can’t edit by choosing several songs together, 2. The songs are listed in the folder by their first letters or number, it’s very hard to delete songs in an album, hope that we can delete a whole album 3. If there are several artists on different songs in an album, the album would be separated into several parts in the “album “page 4. Add to a playlist can’t show all the playlists, only the last playlist you open.
