  • Problem

    By Bigpopajuan (Pcmac user)

Every time I try to connect to the cameras via my iPhone off my home WiFi network the app simply does not work. They need instructions with a port forwarding subject because everything I read directs me to that. I’ve tried to forward ports in order to see my cameras when I am not home but have failed to do so. So after I wrote this review I found a really good support thread through cctv and was able to successfully connect my cameras to my phone using port forwarding and a public IP address that it assigned to the open network. That was the problem I was using a private network IP address that began with 192 but I needed to use a public IP address starting with 172 which cctv thread sent me to another website that gave me that IP address. No where in my router did it show a public IP address but I guess there is one. It would really help if the instructions came with all this information.... the app is great though.
  • Great Camera Great App

    By Mr Marr (Pcmac user)

Hey everyone, this app is great and it keeps on getting better. When I first installed it almost 2 y years ago, I thought it was great. I could see live stream while I was away on vacation or just at work. Now the app has gotten better by allowing me to watch anything that was recorded. Only thing I would add is maybe an alert when there's movement, possibly on selected camera, but I know some ppl don't want their phones going off only cause the wind is blowing the leaves or branches around. Just a thought I guess and maybe allow the users to actually activate it or not. For all I know we already have that options but just have not explored this app entirely. Either way keep it the best work 👍🏻
  • Closes every time I try to record or snap picture

    By MHMMHM (Pcmac user)

I have been using this app for awhile now and like it. However, the app now immediately closes every time I try to record or snap a picture on both my iPad and iPhone to make a local recording. It does it both in live view as well when reviewing recorded video on the base unit. Thus making this program useless to save any important images. I don’t know how long it’s been this way. I’ve used these features before but it’s been awhile. Sorry about this complaint here but I couldn’t find any other way to give you this feedback
  • Very happy but some may need help with remote access

    By Jcneall (Pcmac user)

It pretty much works as advertised. Very pleased with the instant notifications of motion detection when I’m away from home. We just had a break-in so this software lets me check on the house from anywhere instantly. If I could ask for one improvement, it would be to automatically take me to playback mode when I tap the push notification. I can see the live camera feeds immediately but I’d like to see what set off the alarm first then go to the live feed if necessary. Great software.
