What is Soundmondo?

Soundmondo is a social sharing network for Yamaha synthesizer sounds that allows users to save and share their sounds with music creators all over the world. The app provides direct access to over 50,000 Yamaha synthesizer sounds and allows users to organize their sounds into set lists. Install Soundmondo - US app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Soundmondo,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Soundmondo" » then Click "Install".

- Inability to download patches made and saved in the account to the mobile device with the iOS application

- The application requires signing into an account to save presets that are shared, but the ability to sign in is currently broken.

Memory for CS

You couldn’t be bothered to include memory for saving patch data on the actual instruments, so we’re stuck using your web site and iOS application. Now it appears that I can’t download patches that I made and saved in my account to my mobile device with the iOS application itself. Yes, I’m logged into my account. Why aren’t the site and application linked together????

Love this app, fast and easy to experiment with different sounds, very practical as a patch library too. A++ Wish every instrument company had this. All the Reface stuff is amazing quality.
Sign In is broken

This application requires signing into an account to save presets that are shared. But currently the ability to sign into the application is broken. I've talked with Yamaha support and they're aware of the issue. I was not given a timeframe for this issue to be resolved. It'd be a good app if it was working.
Better than nothing, needs fixing

Pros: you can save presets with it, and even transfer presets between iDevices using the QR scanner. Cons: the cloud access is broken. You can log into this app and browse publicly shared presets. I'm guessing you can also download and use them successfully. But I've tried uploading a private preset, which seems to have happened, but I'm not able to view it in my profile. If I try to upload it again, it gives an error saying there's already a preset with that name. 😕 PS: when they say you need google chrome for web access to it, they must mean on an actual desktop, because it doesn't work in chrome on iPad. Yamaha needs to come to terms with the fact that nobody else likes desktop computers as much as they apparently do. They did this same thing with the AN200; much of its functionality is trapped behind an old Windows app.
