I'm enjoying this app, but sometimes the flow between some of the poses seems much too fast at the Beginner level given the biomechanics involved. Also, sometimes the narration will fail to identify the current pose, so the user has to look back at the screen. I'm still using the app, but sometimes I have to ignore the prompts.

I like this app, except it suddenly speeds up inappropriately. The slow speed is perfect. It should stay that way and give an option for faster for those who actually want that. Will be looking for other options until that is fixed.

I believe this app could be great, but the routine is way, way too fast. I can't keep up and its discouraging. This needs fixed or this App goes against everthing YOGA is supposed to be about.

Great app, got it to get into/practice Yoga with my partner and our daughter, but even the beginner routines are fast and there is no showing of the flowing between poses…this SHOULD BE A MUST. How are we supposed to know that Yoga is all about FLOW and about BREATHING and about HEALTH, and not about the POTENTIAL DANGER to the muscles and joints of our bodies?? Please FIX THIS. It seems like 90% of the complaints stemming from people here on the reviews section are all about dealing with this, one of the major complaints, so it MUST mean something, and some of these reviews go as far back as 2011, or before. Isn’t there anyway that you guys can polish and refine your app to reflect and honour what your patrons find so difficult in the first place?, for in the end, we are the ones who are supporting you and using (or not) your fine appllication. After all, your’s, is an EDITOR’S CHOICE App…. Should’t it reflect that, by being, a SHINING STAR? Please make your app better and safer and FUNNER, for all of us beginners, (and which is the crucial period that either dicates whether or not we will stick with something we might eventually COME TO LOVE, or drop it like a hot potato); the three of us, my daughter, my partner, and myself, simply COULD NOT KEEP UP at all with the insanely fast flow of the beginner routines (we were all falling on the floor and laughing, but, not in a funny way), and with the avatar popping from one pose to the next without showing the intermediate and fundamental flow of what are the poses, killing one the fundamental concepts of Yoga: THE FLOW, from Earth, to Sky.... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, SLOW THINGS DOWN, and SHOW US WHAT ARE THE GRACEFUL FLOWINGS that MUST occur BETWEEN THE POSES, and, MAKE THE BEGINNER ROUTINES LESS DANGEROUS, and, less CRAZILY FAST?? Otherwise, your’s, is a Fantastic App!! Thank You….

This was one of the very first apps I purchased, with the very first iPhone (so, over 10 years ago). It is absolutely essential to me. I take part in yoga classes sometimes, and that is probably necessary, but there is no other way I can keep the continuity of yoga practice without this app. Generally, I do the beginner or intermediate routines 45 minutes or an hour four or more times a week, usually first thing in the morning. Here are the benefits: I’m in my 60s. My weight always wants to creep up. This aerobic (I guess that’s what you call it) yoga is essential to keeping my weight down. I have degenerative disk disease in my neck, and 20 years ago, I spent much time and $$ with the chiropractor to keep the bad effects (arm numbness, migraines, inability to sleep) in check. Now I control it with these yoga routines. The difference is like night and day. When I stop doing the yoga for more than a few days, the migraines come back. My family and myself have an issue with hammertoes, and paying attention to the position of those toes as I do the routines, flexing them and expecting them to be straight and strong, keeps me from having horrible foot pain and keeps those toes from crossing over themselves. Really. It’s no problem when I do yoga. If I lay off for 5-ish days, the foot pain comes back. I like being limber, and I like the body smoothing and better abs and stomach. I don’t look like one of those “yoga ladies,” but if I don’t do the yoga, I turn into a blob. I have to watch what I eat, and right now, LCHF is working better than just calorie counting. (LoseIt is my other indispensable app.) If I don’t like the weight on my scale in the morning, I can go do the yoga routine and “lose” another half-pound. (I know that’s silly, but in the scheme of things it’s encouraging and the synergy is good.) I like feeling strong and flexible. In my mind, during the routine, I totally connect with the woman on the screen, and this probably carries over into good self-image and posture. Also, this is an app that they don’t keep changing and adding stuff. I appreciate that. I like it the way it is. That said, I have one request: I think I would like to be able to pause and restart it from my apple watch, since I usually do Sun Salutation and Tree, Sea Star and Airplane during the time that the routine does Crow, and I’d like a little more time for that.
