  • Super disappointed

    By RedMama25 (Pcmac user)

I had high hopes for this app. I’m a busy Sunday school teacher who often finds my teachers manual misplaced. I liked the idea of having my manual on my phone & especially the idea of “free online help”. This is just the leaders manual on your phone. Links are not live- in other words you can’t touch the link to a suggested video & actually get to that video. Also the free helps are non existent. When you copy & paste the only web address I found for help (yes, I said copy from the app, open safari, paste into browser window), you will be taken to a site where you can buy SS help for $600 a year. So basically I paid $7 for an app that is only a digital copy of the manual I already own. Since our church already pays $250/quarter for ss materials, it seems like something ought to come with it. Like the free help or the digital book. Increasingly, I find that ministry materials are printed for mega churches with massive budgets & full time staff doing the teaching. There’s less & less out there for men & women of God who work a full time job outside the church & try to pour into kids on the evenings & weekends in the name of Jesus. Very disappointed & will enjoy being able to read my lesson on my phone but certainly will not reorder.
  • Misses on a couple of key points

    By HPC_Guy (Pcmac user)

Doesn't have page numbers, which makes following in-class direction difficult as was mentioned by another user. Doesn't support rotation to landscape mode on iPhone 5S although it does on iPad 2. However the app is sluggish for scrolling on the iPad 2. No performance problems seen on the iPhone 5S.
  • Update

    By Mag355 (Pcmac user)

What's the deal? Did support just stop? I loved this app for the ease of getting and studying my lessons, but where are the winter quarterlies? We've already started the first lesson and I can't get it on my iPad without going to Lifeway, creating an account and buying it there! Same with Explore the the app app. These little glitches will eventually make me move to other this app.
  • The studies are great ... but ...

    By bradyja (Pcmac user)

Addendum - 8/29/16: Our new Sunday School semester is beginning in a couple of weeks. I've purchased several of the individual lesson books ... but ... I won't purchase anymore. The pages in the books aren't numbered and it's too difficult to follow along in class without page numbers. I purchased this study because it's the study currently used by my Sunday School Class and it is so convenient to read and study my lessons during the day on my mobile device without having to carry the book around, in addition to using my iPad in class. The one great inconvenience for me, however, is the lack of page numbers. In class when my teacher instructs us to turn to a particular page ... it's disconcerting for me because I don't know exactly where to flip to, unless she happens to mention the page topic or subject matter that I can zero in on. Maybe I've overlooked it, but is there a way for page numbers to be shown on the pages?
