What is OMSZ Meteora? Meteora is the official weather app from Hungarian Meteorological Service that provides accurate alerts and forecasts with 1.6 km precision for Hungary. The app sends alerts and notifications only within the boundaries of Hungary. It features a today widget with an analog watch face for displaying timely precipitation and alert info. The widget also features daily and 6-hour forecasts for the next four days. The app has a map view with weather overlays for Hungary that can be animated and combined over the map. It also has a custom locations view where users can select locations for weather forecast or set lakes for storm alerts via push notifications. Users can send anonymous confirmations for weather warnings and alerts or photos that appear in the OMSZ MET-ESZ observer network.
